The old wifi access point died, and the new one is a Linksys WRT54G. After the inital setup, here's what I did next:
- I checked for firmware upgrades. According to the manufacturer's web site, the latest firmware was already installed.
- I opened inbound VNC.
- I opened BitTorrent (Azureus). Miro apparently uses UPnP to automatically configure things.
- I did not use the router's DynDNS client; instead, I continue using the Windows client.
