That's not a complaint we get too often. As you mentioned, in its default setting, Carbonite runs automatically in the background, backing up files whenever they change. However, Carbonite also gives you the option to schedule your backups. Using this feature, you can tell Carbonite exactly when to start backing up files (i.e. every evening at 11 pm) or when NOT to back up files (i.e. don't back up between 9 am and 5 pm). <BR/><BR/>Even if it's not with Carbonite, I'm glad you're using online backup.
